Our client is looking for a proven Director of Sales that will be responsible for the development and oversight of all wholesale activities to achieve maximum profitability and customer satisfaction. The Director of Sales will define and execute appropriate sales strategies; business development, and sales support programs to maximize sales and profitability for both short- and long-range goals including entering new local markets.


  • -Develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goals, closely with the company’s leadership team
  • -Lead a team of Territory Sales Managers to deliver profitable growth
  • -Identify and build a pipeline of potential new customers, initiate and manage prospects through the sales pipeline, and then close these opportunities
  • -Maintain sales volumes by tracing changing trends, economic indicators, competitors and supply and demand
  • -Present to executive team opportunities and challenges with solutions
  • -Work closely with the marketing function to establish successful support, channel and partner programs
  • -Develop a network of key opinion leaders to understand trends
  • -Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities
  • -Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly/annual sales goals


    • -A four-year degree in a business discipline and 10+ years leading a team and successful selling experience in consumer-packaged goods, cannabis experience a plus
    • -Proven successful experience with building and refining selling processes and account management
    • -Proven managerial experience including budget and team building and management
    • -Fast learner, creative and able to work in a highly dynamic environment
    • -Demonstrated use of interpersonal skills, leadership, persistent and well organized
