Our client located in Tampa, Florida, is a rapidly growing analytical testing company looking for Lab Technicians. They believe strongly that analytical testing is one of the most important aspects of the cannabis supply chain. Laboratory testing and analytics enable customer’s success, ensure consumer safety and create trust in the newly emerging cannabis industry. They provide honest, fast, flawless, technology driven and customer focused testing for the cannabis and hemp industries.


  • -Support all aspects of laboratory test work including receiving of samples, homogenization, extractions, weighing, dilutions, etc
  • -Prepare and Run samples consisting of a variety of matrices using Moisture analyzers, water activity meters, and introduction to LC/MS, GC/MS, ICP-MS, qPCR, etc
  • -Data entry, sample intake and sample management using the LIMS and word processing as required
  • -Maintain inventory of samples, laboratory supplies, sample storage and disposal, cleaning, and other supporting lab processes
  • -Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation
  • -Participates in training and continuous improvement projects
  • -Participate in laboratory investigations and resolution
  • -Ensure customer results are reported quickly and accurately, meeting the laboratory performance metrics
  • -Follow all regulatory requirements and established SOPs including safety and health, quality assurance and quality control
  • -Compliance with all local and state guidelines requiring chain of custody of controlled substances


    • -Bachelor’s degree in a natural science; or hold a current license as a Clinical Laboratory Personnel
    • -Minimum 2-3 years of relevant industry and laboratory experience in a high production laboratory specialized in fast turnaround times – food safety, clinical, forensic, environmental and cannabis experience preferred
    • -Instrument experience required – Analytical balances, pipettes, and centrifuges
    • -Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • -Must be willing to be subjected to a background check to be approved by the Florida Department of Health
