Job Description

Our client is seeking a Sales Representative that will be responsible for maximizing our sales potential, developing sales strategies, maintaining budget/sales forecasts, driving growth, targeting new emerging markets, and managing the overall execution of the sales plan.

  • Oversee all functions of the sales lifecycle including sales forecasting, customer targeting, direct customer relationship management and development, negotiation of buying agreements, deal evaluations and approvals
  • Create and manage plan for tracking sales activity, success, and lead generation
  • Conduct market research to find advantageous locations/territories to provide our services to
  • Identify potential customers, key customer and strategic accounts, initiate and manage prospects through the sales pipeline, and close opportunities
  • Utilize selling techniques and market strategies to expand and build upon client base
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business relationships to ensure future sales
  • Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
  • Monitor the market to observe emerging trends and competition
  • Able and willing to travel as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Michigan resident
  • 5 plus years’ experience in Sales / Business Development, preferably within the cannabis industry.
  • Knowledge of cannabis industry, regulations, market trends and competition highly preferred
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with and influence many functions and levels within the company
  • Adapts and thrives in a demanding, fast-paced environment
  • Strong, demonstrated track record of achieving tough, demanding goals
  • The ability to self-motivate and take initiative
  • Operates with a high level of professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential information
  • Sound strategic thinker with strong creative problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills
